Bruce Deichl has nearly 50 years of leadership experience in banking and investments. In 2014, Bruce established Tax Credits International, Inc. in Humacao, Puerto Rico. TCI, the culmination of over 15 years of tax credit placement and consulting services, also offers film production support, as well as Act 20 and 22 consulting. Prior to TCI, Bruce served as President of both the Tax Transfer Corporation of New Jersey and its sister company Tax Credits, LLC, delivering hundreds of millions in various state tax credits to Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Deichl and his team of seasoned professionals have volunteered their expertise to many states, resulting in vastly improved legislation and incentive programs. Improving state programs is of great importance to Bruce, and that effort continues today through TCI. Bruce is an active national speaker, often appearing alongside major film studios, and Fortune 500 companies, alike. Prior to his work with state tax credits, Bruce sold municipal bonds to institutions with both Thomson McKinnon Securities and Marine Midland Bank, and later served as president of Royal Capital, all in New York City. In 2007, the Deichl family “adopted” the Shalom Orphanage Center in Karatu, Tanzania, where they completed such sustainable projects as a water well for clean water, a much-needed irrigation system, a granary and a schoolhouse. Mr. Deichl holds a BA in Economics from the University of Notre Dame.
Kenneth Blaine has been with Tax Credits, LLC since 2007 and is well-versed in placing transferable credits across the nation. Kenneth has built a large base of corporate and individual tax credit buyers, while consistently assisting studios, independents, commercial producers and others generating tradable tax credits that require immediate monetization. From inception to closing, Kenneth tracks each trade ensuring quick and seamless transactions. He has assisted several States with designing appropriate incentive programs. Kenneth is an active member of The Institute for Professionals in Taxation. He often volunteers his time as an educational speaker for colleges and universities in the greater NYC area offering a “101” on the topic of domestic film tax incentives. In his spare time, Kenneth serves as a part-time music director and is a classically trained pianist, having graduated cum laude with a BA in Music Performance from Beloit College.

Lisa Nadal is from San Juan, Puerto Rico and is an attorney specializing in tax law. Prior to joining Tax Credits International, Inc., she worked in the Tax Group of O’Neill & Borges, LLC, a large Puerto Rico law firm. While at O’Neill & Borges, she provided federal and local corporate and tax advice to a broad client base, including multinational corporations, financial companies, hotels and others. She also served for two years as Deputy Advisor to the Governor of Puerto Rico under Luis Fortuño’s term. During her time in the government, she was part of the working groups responsible for the design and passage of the Puerto Rico Internal Revenue Code of 2011 and several tax incentives laws, including Act 20 of 2012 (“The Act to Promote the Exportation of Services”) and Act 22 of 2012 (“The Act to Promote the Relocation of Individual Investors”). Lisa also has experience with international tax issues as she worked for two years as a Senior Tax Writer for the international publications of Tax Analysts, the publisher of Tax Notes and Tax Notes Today. Lisa has an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, a juris doctor from American University, Washington College of Law and an LL.M. in taxation from Georgetown University Law School. She is a member of the Florida and the Puerto Rico bars.
TCI’s most recent hire, Cristy is the company’s utility infielder. With over fifteen years of experience in banking, Cristy has worked in two of the most prestigious banks in Puerto Rico, First Bank and Banco Popular of Puerto Rico. Her earlier career include an array of tasks such as sales forecast, administrative support and events coordination in which she designed, planned and executed promotional in-store events to generate product and service awareness, and client appreciation. She was also in charge of employee software training workshops.
In 2004, Cristy joined Banco Popular of Puerto Rico to handle Cash Management Services and Accounts. She also implemented payroll and other services for commercial clients in Popular. On 2014, Cristy was promoted to the newly established Act 20 Department at Popular. She was responsible for over two hundred Non-Puerto Rico clients, attending to all their banking needs and transactions; surpassing 1MM dollars in transactions.
Cristy joined TCI in 2015 and is responsible for the company’s overall accounting. She also handles film incentives applications and provides production accounting services. Some of her recent work include the documentary “Cuba y Puerto Rico son…” for Banco Popular of Puerto Rico and the feature film “Sol de Medianoche”.
Cristy has a BA in Advertising from the University of Sacred Heart in Puerto Rico, and an MA in Marketing from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico.
With over fifteen years of experience producing and consulting for the Puerto Rico audiovisual industry, Nadia Barbarossa has been an advisor to key industry players, including the Puerto Rico Film Commission & Corporation. She oversaw more than $122 million in tax credit certifications provided by the Government of Puerto Rico from some of the leading film studios and independents. Nadia has developed and led marketing campaigns to promote and position Puerto Rico within the top US film destinations and has directed Puerto Rico’s participation in film festivals and markets around the World. Some of Nadia’s producing credits are the films “Sol de Medianoche” “Cuba y Puerto Rico son”, “Juan Meléndez 6446” and “Diario Vietnam”. Some of her incentives consulting credits include feature films, music videos, commercials and live recorded performances.
